Little Giant Metal Waterer Base Jar 1 Quart

I bought this one year ago and it's still holding up nicely. I'm not noticing any rust after sitting in a brooder for a year. It's been in just about constant use. When I needed to use it on the ground, I would put it on a flat stone or brick. The only thing I noticed that may become an issue, is the place where the top and bottom are connected. It does bend a little and I'm pretty sure it's probably weakening it. It would probably be better if it was connected in 3 or more areas. If the area was a little bit bigger, it would probably be better too. But I think it's a product that will still last a few years.

The waterer base is great for your newly hatched baby chicks. I thought I may need to put little pebbles inside but NO. It fills up with water a little at a time while they drink so it is very safe for your baby chicks (they will not drown). You can put a small mason jar or a large mason jar inside it. Another plus about the product is what it is made of. It will last you forever.

Always used the galvanized items for my flock. Easier to clean than plastic. Would buy again.
