VIA 1435 M Automobile Portable GPS Navigator

The volume isn't loud enough to hear, with no music on in the car. Each time you change the address, u have to enter a city &/or a city code, but it doesn't really recognize your city after a few entry's, like other gps systems. I do like the fact that its Bluetooth & u can use your phone through this system, but the volume isn't loud enough, at its max.

We've ordered the TomTom 1435M via internet from Germany and picked it up at a Walmart in Orlando. The order process was smooth and it worked very well. During our vacation in Florida it was very helpfull. The given information have been mostly very clear and especially the forecast about upcoming turns or exits where helpfull. Also the advice about the lanes to use and to keep. The maps are pre-installed and the TomTom comes with windshield-mounting and power-cable and was usable in a minute. Absolutly a big deal.

This is a replacement for my current model. With the lifetime map update is the big value with this purchase. I love my tom tom i have an old Garmin but when i got my tom tom could not believe how much more i liked it, very easy to use, and plugs right into your computer for you to be able to work with your features.

Got this GPS and plugged it in. Touch that the touchscreen once or twice and the screen froze no matter what I did it wouldn't unfreeze. Took it back the same day to the Walmart.

The device does not work unless it is plugged into the AC adapter in your vehicle, and the voice recognition is terrible. I would not recommend this to anyone! I am going to return it!!!!!
