Bought this for our trip to FL last week. Thank goodness that I only used it two days. Applied to arms, chest and shoulders for two days. Showered in between, etc. Red, bumpy and rough rash across each area that the sunscreen touched. So thankful that I did not use this product on my face. Disappointed since Neutrogena is usually the best. Not this product however. Saving it to take to the dermatologist in case this doesn't clear up shortly.
I have used this product for about 2 years now. I absolutely love this for my face. I have very sensitive skin and this product not only protects my face from the damages of the sun but also doesn't break my skin out. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product! Hope it never gets discontinued!!!
Used the sensitive skin 30 before going out doors. Six minutes later, before even heading out, my face became red and felt hot and itchy. I washed it off right away, but my face and arms are left with leathery, bumpy and feels dry and scaly! It has been two weeks since that application and I'm still left with itchy, bumpy leathery irritated skin.
I just found this site because I was looking all over the internet for the SPF 30 version. I used that for years in desert sun and it was wonderful. No irritation. I thought I was alone in feeling the burning from the SPF60, and the subsequent red, scaly skin on my arms after using it. But here I see it appears to be a normal negative reaction. I will never use the SPF60. It burns instantly and accentuates red sensitive spots on my skin. And it makes my skin more sensitive to wind burn. Dry wind is common in the desert. Please bring back the mild SPF 30. And thanks for being courageous enough to allow us to publish real results of the new product in public. Better than most clinical trials.
I'm reading these reviews and cannot understand why Neutrogena changed their product to be a more complicated one. The simple sunblock preparation without a lot of added ingredients was the best. The only time I have been able to find it in recent years was in a drug store in Puerto Rico this past Christmas - and I grabbed it and brought it home. Please bring back the old product to be an alternative to the current, more complicated version of today. Keeping it simple is better for the body and is less apt to cause the allergic reactions reported here by so many.
