Air Hogs RC Rollercopter, in color Red or Blue

I was apprehensive about this product at first, until I allowed my boys to help me. My boys are older teenagers and they loved this helicopter, in fact a few years ago they had gotten a similar product for Christmas, but they liked this one much better. The cage around the helicopter is the best thing about this toy, when you are the parent for sure, but the kids liked it too. The helicopter performs much better inside the cage since this is an inside toy, it keeps the blades from hitting walls and doorways, which means less crashing! This toy was so much fun because they could keep it flying longer and further which should be a huge selling point for this product. We allowed some younger children play with the helicopter also and they loved it because of the ability to keep it flying. If you are buying this helicopter for the younger end of the spectrum, this will be a toy that they will play with for a very long time. This helicopter is definitely much more durable with the cage around it!! Love this product.

I purchased this item for my team to play with and they are enjoying the toy. It is awesome that it can roll on ceiling and wall. i am thinking to purchase this toy for my kids.

This is an awesome flying climbing helicopter toy! Not only great for the kids but for the adults too! It kept my son and husband busy and happy for quiet some time! This thing would fly in mid air and climb up the walls and roll over things it was very awesome!! I wondered where toys were line this when we were kids!! Says recommended indoor toy only but we took it out as well and it did awesome! It climbed up the walls of the house like nothing! No assembly is the best! All you need to do is put the batteries in and be aware copter must charge on the remote prior to use- just so you kno if giving as a gift. Works great does tricks and is entertaining just to watch even if not playing! I recommend this toy for sure!! Easy to operate too!! No high tech skills needed- great for the last generation moms too ;)

An Interesting Concept that failed to deliver. We were excited when Walmart sent us the Red Air Hogs RC Rollercoptor to try for free and review, however our excitement quickly turned to frustration. My child is 10 and has high functioning autism, and she (me too) was bothered by the high pitched whine this toy produced. I can describe it for you as sounding like a hummingbird getting drilled by a dentist’s drill. The remote required SIX AAA batteries to use and you charge the Rollercoptor by plugging it into the remote. That is a lot of batteries! Despite the manufacturer’s claim of “This extremely fun ground and air RC helicopter is made for non-stop action”, we could only get approximately 10 minutes of flying off each charge of the Rollercoptor. It is hard to learn how to successfully navigate the controls needed to fly within such short periods of actual use. My daughter, after watching how unsuccessful we were at getting this thing to do anything but roll around the floor or up a wall and then drop, was reluctant to even try this toy out. She took it in her room to try without anyone watching her, but brought it back after about 7 minutes and told me to get rid of it. After she went to school, a few adults decided to try again to master it, and ultimately did not. When the Rollercoptor runs into something the propellers hit the cage, and the sound of that freaky thumping petrified my three dogs, who proceeded to attempt to hide behind me. And I would not recommend this toy if you, like me, have ceiling fans in every room. This thing made me so paranoid about my lamps, TV, light fixtures, etc. I wish it was able to be used outdoors. We do have a tiny, one story home, so if you have a different set up, a child that is not a quitter, and sedatives for your mom and the dogs, then you may have more success with this toy than we did.

I could not wait to play with this. But right from the beginning I had problems. It took me a long time to find the tiny winy on button on the helicopter,even the directions didn't help. Then I finally got it to go after I charged it over night. I I had no idea how long to charge the battery. It didn't say in the directions . I finally got it to work, but every few seconds it would crash. Once that happen I tried to get it to go again and again and every single time it crashed I had to turn the helicopter off then on again to get it to work again. I had to turn off and on again on the helicopter each time. Then as I kept trying to fly it again, the crashes were too many and it broke off the top blade to the helicopter. So I put it back on, but it kept falling off so I tried it again . But of course the same thing over and over. It's unfortunate ,it's more work than fun. I really tried over and over but it's just not doing what it should. It did have a good force when it flew. but every time it hit something "crash" . My 10 yr old grandson was not happy with it either. Too many crashes and too much work just to get it to crash. I wish it would have been great but it just did not cut it.
