Sargento® Natural String Cheese Snacks, 12-Count

Sargento (non light versión) is the only brand I'll buy, despite being way more expensive than the other brands. This pack is different! The taste and texture are like every other brand now. I thought they'd accidentally given me light in my order, but the packaging just says “new look, same great taste.” The packaging actually looks the same, not sure what the new look is, but the cheese itself is all wrong.

11/2024 - These cheese stick are by far the best tasting and textured cheese sticks out there. They have a nice smooth taste, don't leave an aftertaste. They're very easy to pull if you're eating them in a string, and after last years of a plastics snafu with their manufacturer, not making them open well, everything is back to normal again and they again open real easy. The only bad thing I would have to say about this is PRICE. Over the last 9-12 months they have had a very sharp price increase of well over a $1.30. For a whopping total of $5.26 for only 12 cheese sticks, that's almost $.50 a cheese stick and comes out to about a 25% price increase! These are way too high of a price and considered a luxury item for snack or lunch boxes. If they raise prices again for a third time in the next quarter, I won't be buying these anymore and we're going back to carrots and celery, or even babybel cheese snacks instead as they are more affordable.
