Chicco Sport Spout Trainer Sippy Cup Teal/Blue 9m+ 9oz (2pk)

I was really excited to receive this cup from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My now 12 month old is transitioning off bottles and learning how to drink from sippy cups, so it was really nice to be able to try this particular style cup for him. For a straw cup, I personally like it. I like it better than the weighted straw cups for sure. It is easy to put together, use and clean. I don’t have a problem with it leaking or spilling. The only thing I don’t like about it is the lid cover. I wish it was somehow smaller and/or attached to the cup. The only reason I don’t use this cup right now is simply because my son does not like to drink from a straw. He just prefers other style cups, so we’re not using the Chicco one at this time. I’m hoping maybe when he’s older he’ll take to drinking from a straw, so I’m definitely hanging on to these because I really do like them. I think it’s a good design. So I’m giving it a good review based on my perception of the cup.

This is a great first cup for a child to use. There is a valve on the inside to keep it from leaking and it's super easy to pop it on and off to clean. I really liked the colors of the cups too. They aren't typical "baby" colors. Both of my kids enjoyed using the cups (15 mo and 3 yo). They both could easily drink out of it. Super easy to clean - I threw it all in my dishwasher - the valve went into a basket though. My son is a big thrower (of everything really), so I loved that it didn't leak. I received this cup as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and my girl LOVES it! I have had a really hard time getting her to use a straw, but after a few times she took to this so easily! The design of the cup makes it super easy for toddlers to hold, so my girl was rarely dropping this. The spout part is semi firm, which was a blessing since she has destroyed other cups with very soft silicone spouts!! I can't recommend this enough, to the point that I bought another to leave in my diaper bag at all times!

We LOVE this cup! Our 14 month old has been using this cup and does such a good job with it. It is light enough that she can easily use it herself but durable enough that when she drops it on the floor, it is fine and best of all, no spills! I really like that the spout is hard and not one of the soft ones. We haven't removed the valve yet but love that there is the option when we are ready for her to move up without it. Everything is super easy to put together and take apart which allows for easy cleaning. Thanks so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this straw trainer cup!

I was given the Chicco straw trainer cup to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My favorite part about this cup is when tipped over it doesn't leak (as long as the valve is in place). With little ones the cup is bound to be thrown on the ground and knocked over so having a cup that doesn't leak is the most important factor for me when purchasing cups for my kids. This cup fit my one year old's hands perfectly, she was able to drink out of the cup with ease. The removable valve makes for easy clean up and is also nice to be able to provide a faster or slower flow for little ones, depending on their needs. Easy to take apart and put back together. The only thing I feel the straw trainer cup is lacking is a removable straw. It would be nice once they master this cup to be able to add a straw under the lid so that they can actually practice sucking through a straw. Other than that I am happy with this cup and would purchase more.
