The NUK insulated 360 cup surpassed my expectations. We had exclusively been using straw sippy cups but this cup was a nice change for my little one. She took right to it and figured out how to drink from it in one try. I personally really liked how cold and fresh the water stayed throughout the day. Mom and toddler approved! Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this to try with my little one and review.
I'm the mom of an independent, 18 month old toddler. She has wanted to "do it herself" and be like a "big girl" since a very young age. The 360 sippy cups helped her to do that. She felt like she was drinking out of a real "big girl" cup. As she has gotten older, a problem has emerged with the traditional 360 cups. Her drinks just aren't staying cold enough. This is especially a concern for me since she has transitioned to drinking cow's milk. Enter the NUK Insulated Magic 360 cup! This cup has a double wall insulation that keeps drinks cold for long periods of time. This cup performs up to my standards. I put some cold water from my fridge into the cup and got ready for the day. About an hour later, it was still cold like it came from the fridge. The claim that it keeps liquids cold for up to 6 hours may be a stretch. I started to see a difference in the temperature after a couple of hours, but this is typical for cups of this nature. It will definitely help keep liquids cool during the hot weather, and that is the ultimate goal. I do have to say, most of my 360 cups leak when left upside down for a long period of time. My daughter threw her cup and it landed upside down in the back of my car today. When returning to our car after our lesson (at least an hour), nothing had leaked! A++ for that! Thanks so much to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this product to review.
I have tried several different brands of spoutless sippy cups, and the Magic 360 cup from NUK is the ONLY one that hasn't leaked when dropped or thrown down by my 16 month old. It is 100% spill and leak proof after being dropped from a highchair to a hard floor below many many times. It is super easy for my child to use, and I like it better that other cups in the same category because the lid is really recessed/concave so it doesn't hit her nose or discourage her from drinking from her cup like an adult. Best of all it is simple to clean and put back together. All you do is pop out the silicon portion of the lid with ease and throw it all on the top rack of the dishwasher. Thank you WeeSpring Parent Panel for letting me try the NUK Insulated Magic 360 Cup for free!!! I am definitely buying this cup to have more so I can use them all the time!
When we originally switched from bottles to sippy cups I found that my twins were very picky and it took quite few tries to find an option that they would accept. So I was pleasantly surprised (and pleased!) when they had such a positive response to the 360 cup. My 15 month old daughter figured out how to drink from this cup on nearly the 1st try and it took her brother just a few more attempts. While they like the fact that they can drink from every side of the cup, the one difficulty they are having is that if the cup isn’t full they have trouble tilting it far enough. I am confident, however, that this is just a matter of development and experience (they are used to straw cups) and they will eventually master it. Although I wouldn’t say that the 360 cup is spill/leak proof, it does as a good a job as I could hope from any cup. When placed upside down it will spill a few drops (particularly if it is put down roughly) but the leak stops immediately. This is unlike the straw based sippy cups we have used that continue to leak for as long as they are upended. Also, when the 360 cup is thrown to the floor with all the strength of little 15 month old arms only a little leaks out –which is impressive. The cup also seems to be well constructed. Being slammed onto hardwood hasn’t damaged it so far (ah the joys of toddlers). The cup is very easy to take apart, clean, and put back together. It is just 3 parts and unlike some other cups we’ve tried, it is obvious how it all goes together (exactly what the frazzled mother of twins needs!). We haven’t had warm enough weather to test the thermal lining, but I’m excited for the possibility of keeping drinks cool. Overall I’m thrilled with this cup and expect it to be a household favorite. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this insulated 360 cup to try.
We have been using this cup for my 14 month old daughter. She is still trying to get the hang of using cups and has a lot of fun with this cup. The 360 lid is great to help her learn to drink from a non sippy cup. I love that it is really easy to assemble and clean. It is mostly leak proof, but my daughter figured out that she can ho,d it upside down and press the middle to get water to come out. I found that the insulation is ok, it didn’t keep ice from melting, but does prevent condensation rings. I like that this set includes day and nighttime pacifiers. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this insulated 360 cup.
