My first child I used the elctric pump and often resulted into putting it down at work and using my hand since it made so much noise. Plus, it cut down my pumping time in half and doubled my product. I guess the pums suction cup knows how to stimulate just right for the perfect flow. I literally had a 2 months supply of mily in the freezer for emergencies. With my first child I was blessed to get two days. I also refered this out to my sister who also had the same success. Oh and the only reason I got it to begin with is I saw it on a paper at my Dr. Office as one of the pumps they recommend for mothers. I am glad I saw that paper.

I was given this product as a gift when I was pgnant with my second daughter and found it comparable to the hospital grade electric I had to use with my oldest. I am now pregnant with my 3rd and this was one of the 1st items to go on my registry. It is comfortable and very effective.

Anyone who has problems with this pump is using it wrong. I don't have any leaking problems. I've seen people say it has too many parts and that's just laziness! I've tried the cheaper electric pumps and they do nothing, no suction. I can pump with my manual Avent pump just as fast as a medela double electric pump and Avent is a fraction of the cost of those. The best thing is how you can control the pressure if you are tender.
