Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle Variable Flow Nipple, 4pk, SCF425/47

I really liked this Philips Avent anti-colic bottle and the variable flow nipple for it. It was so simple to figure out how to use it and the fact that it was all one easy to use piece (for the bottle) was a great added bonus. My daughter is normally breastfed, but took to the bottle really easily. She did best with the slowest flow option, but I think that if she were using bottles full-time, she would have done well with the higher flow rates. Either way, it's a great to have all the options on one nipple - it cuts down on cost and stress and makes it easier when you need to go up in flow rate due to a bigger baby or needing to add rice cereal (or a similar situation). The bottle did seem to help relieve some of the gassiness, discomfort, and spit up my daughter experiences due to reflux. My only complaint is that when assembling the bottle, sometimes the inner part would fold over a little, making it less effective. But that was a simple user error. Explaining how to use the bottle to others who are taking care of the baby might be a little tedious, but once you understand how it works, it's super easy and I think having to give explanations wouldn't be a constant struggle - just a one time minor inconvenience. I received the Avent 3 month variable flow nipples and anti colic bottle as part of the Wee Spring Parent Panel, and I Love them! It's pretty convenient to be able to increase or decrease the flow of milk just by turning the bottle. And this is the only nipple/bottle combo that my little girl didn't scream with. She refused to take any bottle or nipple, but she took right to these!

He is breastfed and took to this bottle well. It helped relieve gas and was easy to wash. Overall, I would recommend these bottles.

Love the variable flow and nipple choices! My little one prefers a faster flow and this bottle tailors to her needs. She seems less gassy as well! I would recommend these bottles. I received this product through weeSpring Parent Panel. I have been trying to get my six month old to take a bottle for a few months. I was excited to try a new brand we had not tried yet. He still isn't taking to it very well. But I do love the design of the bottle! It's easy to hold and very easy to clean with the wide opening. The new pieces inside the bottle do a great job at keeping out the air bubbles.
