These pens are smooth and no smearing. They last a long time too so great value. I use them at work and at home and my kids and employees like them as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Paper Mate FlexGrip Ultra Recycled Retractable Blue Ballpoint Pen in 0.8mm Fine writing has a very long name for a simple, average pen. Pros: I like the size of the 0.8mm fine marks from the pen and it writes smoothly. Cons: To me, there was nothing that really stood out or made it special from any other ballpoint pen. It's a good ink pen for everyday use but it's just like any other ink pen I may grab to use.

It was a plus that they are made with recycled materials. The ink was a really decent shade and loved the fine tip for precision writing.
