I had used this shampoo/conditioner for years and loved it. It kept my ends moisturized without making my roots oily, and preserved color nicely. That is, until, the recent change in formula. It's now "sulfate-free," which I'm usually a fan of, but this is absolutely terrible. There wasn't much lather which is expected, but trying to rinse was next to impossible. My hair felt like straw and the scent is unbearable (very heavy fake floral). I immediately re-washed my hair with another brand. My newly purchased bottles are now in the trash. What a disappointment. Please, PLEASE consider going back to the product we all loved!

I use to love this product until the changing of the formula. It doesn't lather at all and the scent kinda floral and not the clean scent i use to love about Dove. I thought that it might just be the color care one but i also purchased the moisturizing one and it was the same scent. Now i need to find a new shampoo.

I have been buying this shampoo & conditioner since at least 2012. I have always loved it. However, they recently changed the formula to sulfate free. At first I was very excited to try it, I really like how they're trying to be more healthy and safe, but this was not what I was expecting or wanting at all. The new smell is so overpowering, it gives me a headache. It leaves my roots greasy and the rest of my hair dry? It makes no sense but it's true. Now I'm going to have to try and find a new shampoo for the first time in almost ten years... ):

Honestly this Shampoo and conditioner used to be amazing!!! My hair was strengthening and would get many compliments because its smelled so wonderful. Now that it has switched to the "new improved sulfate free" it's goje downhill. There is barely any smell and its seems to be drying out my hair. I don't want to have to to switch to something new, but may have to. :(

Dove was my FAVORITE shampoo until your recent change in formula. It no longer leaves my hair soft and clean, and the smell is just awful! PLEASE change it back!!! I had to throw out the bottle I just purchased!
