ok I just wanted a no frills SEWING machine & a basic no frills get the job done deal!what I got was a totle disapiontment should be in the toy section the seems are so loose I can do 100% beter with a hand stitch! as meatloaf said..I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

This machine works wonderful...... Do not hesitate to get it. I made a pillowcase out of Jacquard fabric, and it did quite well. It has wonderful features, but does not have a light ( so do not get this model if you need one)!! I am looking forward to making more things with this machine. I will be upgrading soon, but this is a good starter machine, and good for beginners, and young fashion designers to be! Bonus: This product comes with a concise detailed video covering machine setup and also different uses.

I BROUGHT THIS ONLINE A WEEK AGO.I WAS SO READY TO USE IT.THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE HORRIBLE.THE DVD WAS BROKE FROM SHIPMENT.SO THAT WAS NO HELP.YOU CANT CONTACT AN AGENT FOR THE MAKER OF THE ITEM.SO I WILL BE RETURNING BACK TO WALMART FOR A REFUND.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.BEWARE

This machine is a perfect size and is lightweight (it fits seamlessly among my other crafting accessories on my desk, and is easy to take to the garage when my baby is sleeping), does a great job of stitching perfectly (as long as you make sure you thread it properly--the instructions missed one step), and gives me the options of reverse, short, or long stitch. I have made skirts and pants and am excited about my next projects. The sky is the limit! (as long as you don't need a zig-zag or other fancy stitches) I was even able to sew on a zipper without needing a zipper foot! I expected that for the money, it would be a frustrating process to even hem a pair of pants, but I was still a bit hopeful. I am glad to announce, my optimism was rewarded! I highly recommend this machine for any beginner seamstress. ANYONE with a basic conception of left, right, up, down, back, and forth can learn how to use this machine in about thirty minutes. The clear bobbin casing even has instructions printed on it for hassle-free threading.

I bought these for 2 10 yr old girls to teach basic sewing to. These are very simple and light weight. Will sew light-med fabric but most of all not intimidating to new sewers. Will need to up grade as time passes.
