Turtle Wax Renew Rx Polishing Compound Light To Medium Cleaner, 10.5 OZ

This paste is great for rubbing out paint from hit and run parking lot scrapes on bumbers, and doors. cleans grime out of the paint.

I machined a frame for a LCD computer display panel out of an aluminum plate 12" X 15". I removed the machine marks with 320 grit abrasive paper and followed that with Turtle Wax 'Heavy Duty Cleaner' paste. When the abrasive paper scratches were gone then I started getting directional scratches from the HDC paste albeit light scratches but in the light they were terrible. At that point I needed a less aggressive paste so I went to the auto parts store and purchased Turtle Wax 'Light To Medium Cleaner'. I knew on the first rub that I had struck GOLD because the directional scratches disappeared. Anybody that says the 'Light To Medium Cleaner' doesn't work simply doesn't know how to use paste compounds.

I have a carbon fiberhood , I was informed that it was finished with resin and not clear coat. I tried this product to remove the starting to yellow surface of the hood. Didn't look like it did anything. Just want to know if I did it right. 1. Car wash 2. apply turtle wax polishing compound with application rubbing it. 3. cleaning it with microfiber before it dry up.

I bought two products the rubbing and the polish compound. The rubbing compound did a decent job but the polish failed it left light scratches around the deep scratch i was trying to remove. It looked like I was rubbing scotchbrite on my car finish.
