My dentist recommended these, and they're great for removing food particles from teeth, and for keeping plaque growth to a minimum, if used regularly.

Lengthy permanent handles permit me to use more pressure when using the brush to remove tartar, stain, etc., on tooth., especially if I place my finger/thumb up near the top of the handle nearest the brush. i guess it is a matter of physics, but it works for me.

Did not like at all - was buying the individual go-betweens decided to try these to save some $ with refills. Brushes don't fit as well and are not as long as the individual brushes. Don't appear to be as well made - kept collapsing which does not happen with the individual brushes. Very disappointed.

I bought this just to get the handles. I can't find them anywhere anymore. They work well.

This holder is good, solid - sturdy. It comes with 3 samples of little Proxa brushes - so you can see which of those works best for you. (Must order more brushes separately.)
