I love my new range hood. It was easy to install and looks great.

Pure junk! The metal is super thin. Bends very easily. Installing it into a 30" space my old range hood came out of was enough pressure to pop all the spot welds on one side. All we did was push it up into the cavity and hold it there while we put the four screws in to secure the range hood. After we installed it I noticed the two spot welds (one on each corner) that hold the front lip in place had broken. Then as I was trying to see if there were enough metal overlap to pop rivet it on place I notice that ALL the spot welds on the left side were popped loose. Also they are so cheaply built that the fan motor does not sit up in the cavity far enough so since a flat filter would hit the fan they just pressed the filter down creating a shallow bowl shape to clear the fan blades. I am 67 and the guy helping me was 69 so I am not going to take it down and take it back and wait another two weeks for another one to arrive only to have to possibly go through this again.
