Super Slide N Fun 6 Leg Swing Set

Before I bought this product for my two grandkids, I read the previous reviews so I knew what I was getting into. I will tell you that the kids LOVE the set and it is just what we needed for them in the back yard to play on. Now, the truth about putting this beast together-it is a bear to get together. The quality of many of the bolts and locknuts are lousey. We had enough hardware but stripped a few of the bolts because of poor quality and difficulty getting them started so we needed to replace them. The company doesn't give you a millimeter more bolt sticking out of a attaching hole than required so it makes it very hard to get things started. I am a Grandma and my son and I put it together. My abs were sore for a week after having to squeeze poles, metal rods and other parts together to get a few more threads on the bolts to show to get them started to thread. It was a nightmare. It took us 2 four hour sessions to get it all together. We made one trip to the hardware store to get replacement stuff we needed after ruining some of the bolts. We were missing parts for the gym rings which have been shipped to us free. Our kids are too little to use them now so it was not a worry. We will get to that job in the future. We also needed to ask for the ground stakes to anchor the set as we are in a yard and not planning to cement the legs. They also sent those to us for free. Overall, if you have little ones who like a swing set and you don't want to spend a gazillion $$ for something that they get tired of or outgrow in 5 or 6 years, this set is OK. Just be prepared by eating your Wheaties before starting this construction project!

Putting this set together on Xmas Eve, in the dark, and in the rain, wasnt a good experience but my employer doesnt care about that and I got home late. Being made in America I expected better instructions. The illustrations were what made it more difficult. All together it took me approx 3 hrs to complete yet had it been decent weather and daylight I could have done it in 2 hrs no problem. If you get the set and find some of the bolts arent long enough, which is for safety really, just put them in place and tighten them to pull the posts together, then take them back out and your bolt will be long enough. One other thing, I didnt appreciate the trapeze bar being substituted with rings and Ill be contacting the manuf regarding that. My daughters love this thing more than anything else they have and it was a great deal for under $200.

This is a nice swing set, but it was missing parts for the hand rings ... also the stairs for the slide did not fit on the poles we had to stretch them which made the edge of them tare. So if they would send all the parts and also make sure all the parts fit it would be great.

Reading previous reviews before buying prepared me for frustrations. The instructions are lacking to say the least.They really need to be re-written with more precise details and more pictures. Was missing hardware,(couldn't hang 1 swing because of it), had to jimmy and wiggle things since some bolts were a little short. Took about 3 hrs. to put together with me supervising and 2 guys assembling. Not to bad and my grand-daughter loved it! Tip for purchaser: Before attaching slide to swing set make sure the bar that it attaches to on the end of the frame is turned the right way.

this was purchased as a xmas present for my 2 year old twin boys. The product was HARD to put together.. missing screws, directions were HARD to follow. Had to pretty much 'wing-it" when putting it together. The frame itself is NOT sturdy- so we had to buy support blocks to be sure it doesnt tip over... its going to be okay for now but will not last too long due to the boys getting bigger and the swing set will not be able to hold their weight. I paid 185.00 for this and then add 20.00 for all the extra parts I needed. If you are considering this swing set- my advice would be spend a few more dollars and get the wooden one. Metal swing sets are just not made like they used to be... thanks
