my son LOVES this bed. He is obsessed with Nascar so it was the perfect bed to get him out of a crib! The extra room around the crib mattress should have something softer to insert in case your little one rolls around a lot. I tucked pillows and blankets around the crib mattress until I find another solution.

Our 2 1/2 year old son LOVES his new bed. Worked well with the crib mattress for now & will be perfect to grow with him. He does have a small room but not much other furniture so it works well. Make sure you measure to be sure it will fit. Fairly easy assembly. Worst part was stickers but for us, it was kind of fun!

At first my 3 year old son absolutely refused to use this bed, but he was still wanting to be in the crib. After about 3 days he decided he liked it and gives us no problems going to bed now. The bed is all plastic and fairly easy to assemble, but be prepared with something to poke holes for the very long screws it uses to secure itself together. My arm started to cramp by the time I put the last screw in. it seems sturdy enough and I like that we can start with the crib mattress and then put a twin size in later. This is helpful because it gives him time to get used to being in a bed with the protection of the side rails. Overall a great product, even my older kids were a little jealous of it, and I catch them climbing into it when no one else is looking.

My son loves the bed. Mom is not a fan of the toddler size so much as it allows space on each side of the crib mattress that is not comfortable if toddler rolls off the crib mattress. I think this will be a great bed once the twin size mattress is inserted. Also so has hardwood floors in his room and bed tends to be noisy when son is playing around on the bed.

Great value for the price. Very sturdy 2 step bed. Can use toddler mattress or regular twin mattress which is nice. My 3 year old loves that it is a bigger "big boy" bed. Very happy with the purchase considering other beds of that type were $100+ more in price but really the same design.
