Step2 Soft & Sturdy Toy Box, Green

I bought this for my 1 year old grandson - it is truly well made - very large and safe for the child to be able to reach in and grab a toy without you worrying about the baby being hurt. The sides are material and the other parts are heavy plastic - very well constructed.

When I got this and put it together I was a little shocked that the actual toy box was the fabric. I own a Step 2 toy box that is quite a bit older and was expecting it to be similar (plastic all around). All in all, I guess it will be ok. I am just worried about something ripping the fabric. I guess time will tell!

Easy to assemble, holds the numerous toys my son has including him, however I did not realize when I purchased it (due to always beingin a hurry) that the front, bottom and back of the box are all fabric. So far so good but I hope that the box holds up as well as a box that is all plastic.

I was upset at first when I saw that it was soft for the whole front and back. Then when I put it together it looked good and my son loved it. Also it fit all of his toys in it. Which was suprising. I thought I would never find a toy box that would fit allhis toys. Of course eh stills has his bigger toys out around the house, but really amazed by the size. Also the top comes off and does completly latch so it doesn't pinch his fingers. WE LOVE IT!

It is nice, but not as good of quality I was expecting for the price I paid for it. The part that actually holds the toys is all canvas which I was surprised. I thought it would have a solid bottom..no big deal now I guess. The lid does not stay on. It's not supposed to pinch fingers, and it wouldn't if the lid would stay on. If I had paid less for it I wouldn't be so critical. Overall it serves it's purpose!
