HoMedics Black & Decker BD-61 Shredder

I made the mistake of putting shipping papers in the shredder and it got all stuck and stopped running. I managed to dig it all out carefully and it is working fine. I won't do that again. Very good machine and shreds completely.

this product is suitable for small use requirements, not a busy user. It 's small, was affordable, and is likely made better than the ten-year-old one it replaced.

Get rid of those junk snail mails with your name on them! This device eats all those free return address labels that spell your name wrong! The shredded paper makes a good addition to your compost pile!

This paper shredder has become very handy in my daily quest to rid my household of unnecessary papers and junk mail. It shreds paper in a quick and an easy fashion but I must admit that the shredder is just a tad bit noisy but other than that it works the way that it's suppose to. It handles up to six sheets at a time which makes it ideal for use at home or in the office, depending on how much of a paper load you may have.

Shredder overheats, literally, after 2 minutes of shredding 2-3 sheets at a time. Then takes 15-20 minutes to cool down before it works again!!!!! Jams and/or grinds ever so slowly if you put 5-6 sheets in at one time. Cheap price means cheap product when it comes to Black & Decker.
