Art of Shaving After Shave Balm, Lemon, 3.3 Oz

I don't shave every day. But since receiving this After-Shave Balm from the Art of Shaving, I've noticed that my skin is softer, and more hydrated in between shaving. Using this product is quick, and doesn't add much time to my morning routine, but it's definitely worth it. The subtle lemon aroma is perfect, and the balm doesn't leave an oily residue. The final step of the whole Art of Shaving Kit experience did not disappoint. Like all the scented items in this particular lemon kit, the after shave balm has just the right amount of scent. Enough to give you a good smelling sensory experience, but not to the point of being like a cologne. After rising off your face with cold water as recommended in the instructions, the balm really hits the spot. The cold water tightens up your skin and then a nice thin layer of the lemon scented after shave balm leaves your face really feeling fresh and alive! The bottle the balm comes in is a nice heavy glass bottle that I think really adds to the "high end" feel of this whole kit. I would tell everyone to be mindful when dispensing the balm out of the bottle though. I found that when you press the button on the top of the bottle that the balm really shoot out fast. If you are not careful you may be cleaning up some balm from your counter top. That would make for a pleasant smelling counter top, but wouldn't you rather save that game for your face? You want to finish strong but not that strong! ;) The Art of Shaving Full Size Kit started strong, stayed strong and the balm most definitely finished strong! My face thanks you! I usually do not use any special after shave lotion for my skin.I just use a normal moisturizer with not so great results. The first time I tried the after shave balm, I was extremely delighted by the wau it felt on my skin, it was non greasy and was absorbed quickly by my skin.It also curbed the itchy feeling I usually get after a shave. I had no irritation or razor burn using the pre-shave oil and shaving cream in the Art of Shaving kit, so much so that I really didn't need my usual post-shave treatment, but since this product came with one, I used it. I was pleasantly surprised, and liked that it was oil and alcohol-free. As someone who suffers from acne, I prefer to leave on products that are oil-free and do not clog pores. This met my needs. I had no breakouts from this product. My skin felt very refreshed after I was done. I was worried the scent would smell like a cleaning product, but it had the right strength and smelled very natural and clean. It left just the right hint of scent when I was done.
