Poly Hammock

It is true that this looks like a hammock but it is made of ropes that have the properties of a rubber band: ropes can stretch to 2 times their initial length, so the hammock reaches the ground when you are in it, even when it is 2 to 3 feet high when empty. Buying this is a waste of your time and money.

I have really enjoyed this hammock. I weigh 220 lbs and have no problems with it holding me. Very comfortable, I fell asleep in it the first time I used it ! I lay in this hammock 3-5 times a week and love every minute I spend in it. Great product for the money and would recommend this to anyone.

Great price, but the finish on this hammock leaves something to be desired. Long dangling rope ends from the knots at the spreader bars detract from its appearance. The irregular rope weave leaves gaping holes in the web big enough for limbs to fall through. Not a real hazard, just annoying. I'll be trying a different hammock next time around when this one needs to be replaced, but it's too soon to tell when that might be.

If I could give this hammock ten stars, I would! It's worth twice the money. It DOES stretch a lot, but I found that made it more comfortable. It probably won't fit on a hammock stand, because the place you hang it needs to be about two feet wider than the hammock. But I put it between two trees, and it is like heaven! I've already spent a good portion of my weeks in it (Every time I have the time!), and I foresee it getting a LOT more use this summer. The ropes are SO soft, that you really can't tell they're not cotton. It's the most comfortable hammock I've ever owned. You will NOT regret getting this hammock!

I love this hammock. It was so easy to put up with the chain and hooks provided, not like my old one that I had to tie around a tree. Also using the chains made it easy to adjust the hammock. There is plenty of room for 2 people and my grandkids are enjoying it everyday. I also was happy that I could pick it up at my local store.
