Holmes 'D' Humidifier Filter, HWF75PDQ-U

I like these filters and they work well, however, they have a somewhat weak seam. I did have one of them recently literally come apart at the seam. I must say it only happened once but after looking carefully at the seams, it looks like it could possibly happen again.

The service was fine and the filters were fine, but they arrived in a box for a different product by a different manufacturer. This led to confusion as my wife and I tried to figure out who had ordered the product depicted on the box. Finally, we saw the word "filter" in little type on delivery information pasted on the box, and realized what it was. If Holmes or its suppliers are going to use random boxes to package their mailings, they should at least paste a large label on the box identifying the product inside.

Other (generics) only lasted approximately 12 days this winter. The first one I used from these lasted 20 days but it was using almost 3 gallon of water each day. They are noticably thicker and feel better. I did like the originals from a few years back when they had the color indicator letting a person know when the life was about up.

I ordered these filters about a month ago. Holmes filters are the best. We have used cheaper brands in the past and they collapsed and lost their shape when they got wet. Ordering was quick and easy and they were delivered right to my door. I would strongly recommend Hmed filters to my friends and family.

Don't be fooled by those cheap filters that are less money they only lasted about 2 weeks. The best part about these filters is when they start to get dirty you can rinse them out because of the black plastic cage on the outside. that's how you can get two months out of them. This is the only place I will ever buy filters.
