I just read that the size of spline needed is usually shown on the screen material label. However, you may also be able to find a chart online that shows the size of spline needed for your project. Also, I know it's surprisingly difficult to find, but the nylon roller tool with wooden handle works the best from what I have found.

This black spline for windows and doors seems to be great quality! It doesn't feel cheap. It feels like it has the right kind of flexibility. I'm hoping it will hold up for a long time. I can't comment on how long it will last because I have only had it for about a month. I was super excited to receive this product though since we are renovating a mid century home. We are pretty experienced with renovations and knowing what's good quality and not; this product seems to meet the standard of good quality.

This is an absolute necessity when putting on a new screen in either doors or windows. I used a heavy duty rip proof screen on the screen door of my French doors that lead to my porch. Living in the country in a very rural area, I need things to withstand a lot of punishment from weather and animals. Somehow the bottom of the screen got ripped out from the channel and I needed the screen and spline to be replaced. Using this was easy and worked well. You will need a tool with a wheel on it to push the screen into the channel before putting this spline in to hold it. I took a close up photo of it out of the package, and in use on the screen after I fixed it. Hard to photograph. Plenty comes in the package to do a couple projects. Directions for use on back of package. Made in China.
