Philips Sonicare Elite HX5752 - Tooth brush - cordless

The Sonicare Essence is a reasonably priced electric toothbrush that performs better that most other brands. It can be used without recharging for at least a day or two. I have a travel case for it and use it without the charger for 2-3 days when on the road. I bought this model to replace the more expensive model that quit when the battery would no longer hold a charge. That is when I found out that the battery cannot be replaced-the entire unit must be disposed of and an entire new unit purchased to replace it. I don't understand why this toothbrush cannot be made with a replaceable battery. However, due to all it's other features, I recommend it.

I like the nice feeling I have in my mouth after I use this toothbrush. The 2 minute cycle (30 seconds for each quadrant) helps me not to forget that I need to brush my teeth for at least 2 minutes. this is the third Sonicare brush that we have purchased and the mechanism lasts a long time.

I replaced a SOnic two mode toothbrush that had lasted 7 years with the Essence HX5752. I like the design, but I preferred having the beeps every 30 seconds on my previous toothbrush. Also, I wish this one would sit on the counter with brushes pointing straight up so I could put toothpaste on it more easily. It seems to work well though & I like the fit inside my mouth.

Between my old Phillips Sonicare and my new Phillips Sonicare brushing with a manual toohbrush was just not the same. It felt that i was not not getting my mouth as clean. With the Sonicare I feel as thought I am hitting all the spots that need to be cleaned.

Works great, teeth feel as clean as going to the dentist! Mouth is fresh with less toothpaste than a manual brush. Wish the design was more ergonomic. Would be nice to have it fit it palm with more grip. Greet product! Each person in my damily has one now!
