This die helps make rag quilts so much easier! I only made one before and snipping all of the fringe with scissors was such a chore, that I never did it again. But now I’m planning a bunch more! Be sure to invest in a die pick and clean out all those stuck threads after each project.

the rag square is so great I love making rag quilts but the cutting part was so boring and by the time I would get a couple of squares done my hands were cramping, with the rag square die it is fantastic you cut you sew and your done get my quilts done in a fraction of the time

I really enjoyed using this die over the weekend. I was able to cut out a quilt in one day and sew it together. I used it with cotton, denim and cuddle. All the cut lines means it is a bit harder on the mat and the cuts sometimes need a little more help, but it is way better the snipping. I highly recommend this die to anyone who enjoys rag quilts.

I got this because I thought it would work well in my embroidery machine hoop. I am limited to doing 8" square area at a time, so I'm thinking that this should be perfect. I may decide that it's best to use it after the embroidery or quilting is done to help square it. I haven't decided how best to use it.

I purchased the rag die and I don't think I would have ever finished the quilt without the die. It was amazing it saved me so much time and having it so easy to do was such a help. I don't think I would have been able to make all those cuts by hand my old hands would not have held up for all those cuts. Thank you accuquilt for all the great dies and making my projects so much easier to do.
