Beautiful rag quilt gifts in no time!

40" wide fabric: Cut 9" strips across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 9" widths. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 4 rag squares across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 16 rag squares. 60" wide fabric: Cut 9" strips across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 9" widths. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 6 rag squares across the width of fabric. One yard of 60" wide fabric cuts 24 rag squares. Quilters love rag quilts because they are easy to make and perfect for snuggling! The GO! Rag Square-8 1/2" die makes it even easier by saving hours of tedious hand cutting. The GO! Rag Square-8 1/2" die features specialized dog-ears and a 1" seam allowance with 3/4" fringe cut to a consistent 1/4" width for easy alignment and piecing. Rag quilt tops come together quickly making GO! Rag Square-8 1/2" a great beginner piecing shape. Rag quilts make great gifts for new babies, graduations, the holidays and more. You can change the number and size of the 8 1/2" rag squares in the quilt to make it larger or smaller. Use GO! Square-6 1/2" (55000) to cut batting squares to make rag quilts even warmer. Rag quilts are typically laundered to fully “bloom” the fringe.

I probably am like many other quilters, I like buying 10 inch layer cakes. All the fabrics in a particular line but oh those pinked edges. Now exactly where do you place the edge of your presser foot to get that accurate 1/4 inch seam? I saw Jenny Doan (MSQC) talk about how to sew the 1/4 inch seam and how to trim up the squares to get rid of the pinked edge. Light bulb went off and I used this die to do just that. May take a bit of time but now I know I have a true 10 inch square. PS- small, cheap dust broom makes it easy to clean up of all those little bits

I like this die so much that I bought a Go! fabric cutter so I could use it. I already had a Go! Baby. It’s so nice to be able to cut multiples since I use a lot of 2 1/2 inch squares. I’m so pleased with all of the Accuquilt products that I have bought.

unhappy with ten inch square GO die. not cutting all the way through two layers much less six layers. Still having to trim after cutting in the cutting machine. Wasting a lot of time having to go back and trim. Spent a lot of money on machine and dies was hoping it would work properly

I bought this a while ago. I used thus yesterday to make 2x4 flying geese. It cut my materal so nice and my square came out perfect. I will be buying the 5in square for my upcoming twister quilt. I cannot say enough on how much time it saves you plus no quessing.

Before I purchased my 2.5 square die, I would take my left over material and make 2.5 squares for later to make a scrappy quilt. My wrist and hands would get so sore and tired. Now, it takes no time at all. And the best thing, I can cut 2.5 squares all day long and I don't get sore and tired.
