Accuquilt GO! Square-3 1/2" (3" Finished)

Originally, I didn't read the directions and tried 4 layers of nice quality flannel. Those are the only ones that I had to do any fringe cutting. I went back to 2 and used someone's Idea about a piece of a folder on top of the mat. Worked great!! I found that my squares did cut much cleaner and left few if any bits of threads. These are expensive dies and I would like to see a way that AccuQuilt could sharpen the edges for a small fee.

Making 9 square quilt blocks and putting them together for Preemie quilts. The 6 1/2" square is the perfect size for squares between the 9 square blocks. Accuquilt sure has making the baby quilts easier and quicker giving me time to do evenmore quilting,

Purchased this because I was looking at doing a project with over 150 5 inch squares. The thought of cutting these manually was daunting, but the Go! die made quick work. Die cuts 2 at a time, plus stacked at 6 fabrics each pass, I got it all done in under 20 minutes.

I had a Go and then got the Go Big and love it. I have many dies and use the 2 1/2" strip, 5" square and 8 1/2" square dies all the time. I just started to use my 10" square which I have had for awhile and just getting around to use and looking forward to what I could do with it. It does not cut through 2 pieces of fabric! I have tried with many different fabrics I will be contacting Accuquilt as believe this die must be defective since all my others work great!

I needed this 5" square die to make a blue jean quilt for my husband. I have 2 of these dies and the Go Big electric cutter so I can cut 4 5" squares at one time! Wish the 5" square could cut more than 1 layer at a time with denim, but since buying 2 5" dies, I can do 4 squares at one time instead of just 2. Will definately make the cutting denim squares alot faster!
