This car is huge. It needs to be charged out of the box. It took a little bit for it to be ready but once it was the kids were obsessed. They made their own ramps and stunt jumps. The battery last a long time so the get plenty of time before the next round.
Got the Adventure Force Trail Chaser, a radio controlled 1:8 vehicle. While I really wanted to love this product, it came damaged. The box the car came in and the outside shipping box was undamaged but after unpackaging the car from the box, I immediately realized the rear right wheel was broken. The wheel was awkwardly bent, different from the other wheels, and when I looked at it closer, I could tell there was a white stress point on the wheel socket that attaches to the frame. I tried bending the wheel back in shape but it stayed the way it came. Since the packaging was undamaged, this must have been a manufacturing defect. Despite this, my son was still excited to play with his car and show it off to his friends. The car worked great. It was fast, had good maneuverability, good shocks that helped it bounce over things and uphill. The lightweight and empty airy cushiony feel of the wheels enhanced the speed and maneuverability of the car. Unfortunately, the weakened stress point proved to be too much of a defect that after less than 15 minutes of play, the wheel came off the car. After that, the car still worked but would fall off after hitting any object, sidewalk, etc and was very disappointing. If my car didn’t have the manufacturing defect, it probably would have been a 5 star review. It did take about 3-5 minutes to untangle the car from the box, unscrew the lids to both the underside of the car and the remote controller. The battery did come charged so all we had to do was attach the pieces and it was ready to play. Comes with the charger to recharge the battery but since the wheel keeps falling off, my son hasn’t used it enough that we’ve needed to charge it yet. Great product that we wanted to love but disappointed.
Remote control cars have always been a big hit with my family. This ine inarticulate is made well, has shocks on the wheels for better support and can take some damage. My kids are a little rough sometimes and they have held up very well so far. The remote is a one hand remote unlik e typical controllers and the battery life is reasonable. Has different speeds, seems to hold up well qhen splashed with a little water. Goes fast for a remote controlcar and is sure to bring you and your kids hours of fun.
My 8 year old was very excited to play with the toy. I followed the instructions which came along. Product comes with pistol grip transmitter along with 2 double AA batteries. The car came with rechargeable battery along with usb charger . I charged the battery and connected it as per the instructions. I inserted the aa batteries in the transmitter but a red light kept blinking. It never worked. I tried everything possible , charged it again but in vain . It was a disappointment.
This is a good remote controlled car. It has held up to multiple high speed crashes. It's nice and lightweight. It is very easy to get used to turning and spins. This thing is fast, like really fast. When it hit my grass is basically came to a halt. The reverse is hard to do 1 handed. Also the battery hasn't lasted long in my opinion. Those are my only complaints.
