Agri-Fab 420544/450525 40" Aerator

I purchased the complete lawn system. I have used the aerator and dethacher a couple of times already. Great product and very well built.

This unit worked well with 4 cinder blocks tied on top of it. This gives it the weight it needs to do a adequate job. See photos below

With the maximum added weight the unit does somewhat aerate the lawn but is not very effective especially on harder soil.

What a pleasure to buy a product made in the U.S.A., Very easy to assemble and instructions that were not confusing! I used it the very next day with 75 pounds of weight in the trey and that was perfect for my yard that was pretty dry at the time. I will be buying a Lawn DeThatcher from Agri Fab in the next couple of weeks. Keep up the Great Work!

The overall quality is good but the assembly instructions are poor because of the lack of identification for the frame sections. A tape label on the upper and lower hopper tube would help. I had to disassemble and redo twice before I had the right combination.
