We bought this for our grandson who was so excited. He had been wanting this for a long time. However, we never got this thing off the ground! Or to move on the ground for that matter. As soon as we started it up, one of the propellors snapped. There was one replacement propellor for each side, and we went through all of them within a matter of minutes. It never went anywhere, on land, water or air. We intend to return it!

I bought this product for my 9 year old son for Christmas. We have yet to get it to take off from the groung or once thrown in the air to successfully fly for over 10 seconds. We still try occasionally. At least we have not torn it up, but I am dissappointed and my son completely lost interest after several tries. Waste of my money, and my son's time.

Took 20 days to get a battery and charger for the Storm Launcher (you don't carry them) and first attempt to fly the SL I descovered it's defective,,The motors won't run in any form or fashion...Now I have to go to the trouble of packing it up and returning for replacement or refund...

I got anxious, and had to charge it up. Took 25 minutes. Really difficult to get used to just hovering the first time, adjusting the trim and setting the right "pressure" on the throttle to keep a steady altitude. (A drafty house makes it difficult.) Once I got the knack of that, it was time to actually fly. Since there is no angle control, the directions say one must go slight right to go forward. I stil can not get control to move in the direction I want. The Christmas tree, or the wall, or the door jamb, ate the Air Hog several times. Recharge time takes away from the fun, as I can only get 2 or 3 6-10 minute flies in an hour. Yes, fun product, that my 6 and 7 year old kids love to try to hover.

As indicated on the box, this is NOT for beginners. This is closer to a hobby-grade plane which does not recover to neutral stable flight autonomously nor is it a truck which can run for 20 minutes. If you have the skill &/ patience you will find this an excellent all-terrain vehicle @ reasonable price which you can upgrade later for higher performance.
