All Power America APG3004A, 800 Running Watts/900 Starting Watts, Gas Powered Portable Generator

I purchased this generator a few years ago just to have it in case of an emergency but never had a chance to use it until hurricane Irma hit last week. Long story short, I was pleasantly surprised with its performance. We were without power for about 15 hours and this generator was able to power the refrigerator, a couple of lamps, and charge our phones during that time. We just shut it down for a few hours while we slept. Keep in mind that it is a loud generator, like a lawn mower, but that's about the only negative that I can think of. It was well worth the money.

Read the guide, mix the gas and oil , slide lever and pull, Yes, it started on the first crank, ease of use. love it.

When I received this generator, your first step is to attach the handle to the top of the fuel tank in order to pick it up and carry it. The screws were "stripped" - would not thread. I called the company and they swapped it out for a new generator - the handle seated fine. However, I don't know much about portable generators. There is a manual that tells you how to start it and maintain it. But nothing that tells you what and how to connect appliances, etc. So, I looked up portable generators on the web and found out this unit only produces enough power to drive a television set or computer. I thought I could use it to run my refrigerator in a power outage - not so. You need over 1600 watts of staying power just for a refer. So, I took it back to Sam's - and returned it without any hassle.
