Almay Intense i-Color Gel Smooth Liner, Espresso (For Green Eyes)

-1. It's all dried out. I purchased the gel eyeliner so it would glide on this does nothing but pull my skin do not waste your $$

This item is unusable. I cannot get the product time to come above the container and therefore, cannot use it. Very disappointed.

This is a terrible product! I bought four and I am really unhappy with this- fist, it doesn't turn up from the bottom, which was a big surprise. And it doesn't sharpen, it just smushes into itself. Useless after the first few times. I am starting to feel that my 30 + years with Almay are coming to an end

I had used a twist up dark liner for years that stopped working on my older eyes. (57 and needing less eye makeup) I began experimenting, gel, liquid, etc. all too dark, heavy and hard to remove. This one fit my needs. I use the charcoal. I have greenish/hazel eyes. It has a nice shimmer which brightens my eye contour. My lashes are thin so the smudged looks helps with defining. Plus my hands aren't steady and I end up with brush liners all over my kid! I did think this was a twist up and was confused when twisting the bottom resulted in nothing happening. I used a solid pencil sharpener that I use to sharpen my good color drawing pencils. Turning slowly and just shaving off a bit. I do not try for a super sharp point but not an issue for me. The eyeliner has good staying power. Just let it set first I will purchase this again but if you want a dark, fine line, try a brush on.

I bought my Almay Gel Liner less than a month ago, after having given up on my Cover Girl Eye Liner which used to be wonderful. I used a few times and then found that it cannot be extended, let alone sharpened!!! Being desperate for eyeliner, I looked around my house for an object that is slender enough to fit in the end tube to shove the eyeliner down. I finally found that a matchstick works. However, it is only a short-term solution since the matchstick is shorter than the tube. Off to the store to buy a totally different self-sharpening eyeliner!!! Who tested this product, anyway?!!
