Andis Professional Animal Detachable Blade Clipper Kit, 7 Pieces

I was hoping this one would not heat up like the inexpensive ones I previously owned , however it does, although it does cool down after 10 minutes. On positive note, it is less noises and cutting performance is good. I would not recommend it if you don't have patience nor a patient animal.

This is a great clipper. The only thing is you need to take the blade out and remove a small white thin needle shape piece or the clippers will not work. I was ready to return these until I took the piece out and the clippers worked.

I really like this clipper. It's not too heavy and has a sharp, replaceable steel blade. The blade gets hot but I think they all do that. And it's relatively quiet to use. It comes in a nice carrying case too along with a variety of different length attachments. I have two small long-haired dogs I wanted to start grooming to save money, and purchasing the clippers cost less than I would have paid to take both dogs to the groomer for one visit. I bought a Sunbeam brand first (with a plastic permanent blade) from a pet store, but I returned it after one use because the blade was already dull.

Excellent, excellent pair of clippers for my 3 Shih Tzu's, and Lhasa Apso. Goes right through their hair. I can't express how pleased I am with these clippers. I paid 3 times as much for other brands and they absolutely wouldn't cut their hair the way they advertised. I'm temped to buy another pair for standby. I took a chance buying them based on the ratings. They were right in their explanation of these clippers.

This was the best clipper I've bought. I have bought 2 other Andis clippers that were cheaper but they didn't work near as well as this one. It is definitely worth it to pay a little more for this one. With 2 very fluffy and matted cocker spaniels, this paid for itself in one grooming!!
