this annie was good but i still like the movie with Carol Burnett better ..
I was able to get this DVD with a Free Pickup. Everything went fine and the people were helpful. I had seen most of this movie when it was airing on the Hallmark Channel, during the Christmas season. Now that I have seen this movie as a whole, here's my opinion. The movie itself is good, but the ending could have been better. The ending is what you sort of expected for a TV-movie, but it felt like it was executed rather hastily. It was a good ending, but it should have been done differently and have an extension of 5 minutes at least. I liked the old Albert Finney version when it came to an ending. But unfortunately the old version had a flaunting underwear Miss Hanagen and Strong Language. So for the sake of children and parents who don't want a rather adult version of Annie, I recommend this version. For younger audiences and a hasty ending, I give it 4 out of 5 Stars!
Watch this first before the older versions, Cathy Bates offers us a cleaner version of Ms Hannigan and the best actress in this movie.
