iPod Shuffle 1GB MP3 Player

We purchased this ipod as a Christmas gift for our grand-daughter. My daughter was able to download songs, but apparently there is a malfunction and they are unable to playback. My daughter will be returning the ipod to Wal-Mart in Washington state where they live.

i love my ipod shuffle, my husband bought it as a christmas gift for me and i got him the ipod nano. kind of not fair his has more memory and a screen, but never the less i love mine. i really don't need a screen because i wouldn't know how to work it. im not very technical with electronics so this is perfect for me. i didn;t put the music on it but my husband didn't have any problem with that. i've had my shuffle since christmas and haven't had to recharge it yet. it has a clip so you can hook it onto your clothes, that is a nice bonus. i think there is a feature to shuffle your music if you want. mine isn't turned on, my music is always in the same order so i don't understand why some people say its never in the same place. its an awesome little mp3 player for the price and memory. also the color is awesome on it. i don't know about the earbuds i bought new ones the day after i got it and haven;t used my white ones.

It is a resonable price for a teenage to be able to download music. It hold plenty of songs. The one down fall is that you have to scroll through every song to get to a certain on because it doesn't have a screen. This is something I did know before I purchased the product though. In fact, I went and bought another one at the store for my son.

I have tried everything that the instructions inside this iPod told me to do and I was unsuccessful in making it work. So, I went to the site and found lots more information on how to be successful in loading songs and charging the iPod. (This should be in the product material which is sent.) However, after 2 days and lots of frustration, the site did not help either. It looks as though it is charged, I have music on it, but it still does not play. I would not suggest this product to anyone.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas, and aside from the incredibly awkward and inept itunes web site and the lack of any manual that explains the ipod, the experience has been wonderful.
