Arlo - Pro 3 Floodlight Camera - FB1001 - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The app is very simplified. No issues setting it! Installment, super easy! A couple screws and that's it! Charging, appears to be a little tedious unless you have the additional charging cable. If your camera/light is posted high, you'll need to take it down each time. Unless, it's posted near a window and can run the cord to it easily in that manner. My issue is the 2G connectivity. I have 5G and I guess no G. So, according to the directions & my attempts, it won't work on either. So, it appears I have to purchase Smarthub. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on this picture quality until I purchase the Hub. I do, however, I one small concern. It appears nothing would prevent a stranger from removing the the actual light/camera from its base, if it's posted low. It's only a push button release for removal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great security system to have. The floodlight is really bright and the brightness is adjustable. Set up was really easy. Download the app and the app walks you through the whole process. Installing the floodlight was easy. 3 screws and it was up. You will need to purchase a cable for the floodlight that will keep the floodlight and camera charged at all times. The cable will be a long cable that attached to the bottom of the light and then you plug it into a receptacle. The app has a ton of customizable features for the security system and the floodlight. The video quality of the recorded videos is really good. We have ours set to record motion. So when if records motion it will zoom in on the motion. It comes with a 3 month subscription to store your video recordings.

It is extremely bright, and will definitely make me feel much more comfortable knowing that people will know they are being seen if they are in my yard at night.

I was surprised by how bright the flood light is and how great the quality of the picture is. The night vision is very good compared to our old one you can see alot of detail we used to not be able to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installing and setting up this Arlo floodlight camera was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I just downloaded the app and it walked me through every single step. The directions were easy to understand and my camera was ready to go in no time at all. The features are great. There is a talk button, which is nice to have if I get an alert while I'm away from home and need to say something to whomever is at my residence. There is also an alarm that you can activate if you need to, plus it will even contact 911 for you if you want. I love that it has the built in floodlight, it can be very bright, but can also be adjusted down to a lower level which I feel is still plenty bright enough for me. The image on screen is crystal clear and the camera will zoom in on the motion that it detects giving you a close up look at who or what it detects. Everything with this camera is set up to be user friendly. You can customize the settings to your desired preference, alerts, alarm, 911, sensitivity, light, etc. This is a must have for me as there have been tons of stollen cars, break-ins and stollen packages in my area lately. The Arlo floodlight camera is my first security camera and I couldn't be happier. In fact I plan on getting a few more so I can cover more area around my home.
