Art of Shaving Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush, Black

It's simply perfect. Classic handle. Silvertip hair is real and of highest quality. The hair bundle is the perfect size to get a perfect lather. I love this brush.

Have been using this brush for a year and just yesterday started loosing hairs by the dozens. For this price I thought this brush would last for a couple of years.

I received this brush as a gift in December 2016 and as of today I've already replaced it once and I'm getting ready to replace it again because of severe shedding. I understand it's handmade but there is no reason for 10% loss of bristles in 3 months of use. This time when I return the brush, I'm going to a different one. The feel of the brush is fantastic but the shedding is ridiculous. My last brush went strong for 5-6 years. I have it on a stand and take good care of the brush but it still sheds more than a black lab on a hot summer day.

I was given the Silvertip shaving brush as a present and it is a great brush except for the two dozen plus bristles that fall out daily. I was expecting something better for the price of this brush. The cheap brush that I had been using for the past ten years was wearing down in the middle but never lost a bristle.
