EMTs can use the Pediatric Immobilizer Device to safely and effectively immobilize, transport, and attend to children who have experienced spinal or limb trauma. Measuring 47” x 8” x 1”, the exclusive Pediatric Immobilizer Device can be used as a Spine Immobilizer for transportation, as well as a restraint system for children standing from 28” to 54” tall and weighing from 20 to 90 lbs. The board features adjustable head support with ear openings that enable effective monitoring of fluid drainage. Individual leg restraints allow an EMT to immobilize one leg while attending to the other. Featuring sewn-in lifting handles at both ends, the board is easy to maneuver within confined areas. Built-in fastening loops connect the board to existing cot straps to ensure maximum patient safety during transportation.
