Aurora 12-Sheet Crosscut Pullout Paper Shredder

I just picked it up today and it seems to operate fine with some nice features. Ask me again in a year for a detailed review.

Surprise, Is not a twelve sheet shredder for standard copy paper. 3 sheets maybe for without significant slow down more than that is a jam. Does do plastic cards. Works for me as I don't have a high daily need for shredding but would be nice if it did do 12 sheets at a time and would save me time when I do need to shred....

This was much more than I expected. Heavy duty, cross cut paper shredder is sturdy and strong, cutting paper with ease. Pull out tray makes bagging the shreds easy and effortless. Does a great job!

I might and I might not recommend this shredder to a friend. It does not cut as fine---small as our Aurora shredder that had to be replaced. I have already filled the basket and have only had it 3 days. I don't think it holds as much either. Just not real sure about the quality of it yet. The one that this replaces was 12 years old and I loved it. We will just have to see how it performs when we have had it longer. We purchased the 2 year warranty so I think we will be covered it it does not hold up well.

I got this shredder as a replacement for a shredder that we had for years and finally gave out. The price was good for a 12-sheet shredder. So far it's worked great. The finger guard on the top (where you have to tilt the cover to get to the opening was a little hard to get used to, for feeding the paper into the shredder, but I think I've got the hang of it now. I guess it's a good safety feature to have added, so I can't complain much. I did buy oil, and I will be sure to oil it regularily to make it last longer. The only reason that I listed this as 4-stars, was that we've only had it for about a week.
