Axxess LC-GMRC-CL29 when replacing the oem radio with an after market radio some features may be lost. some functions are ran through data and will no longer work then the oem radio is removed. with our Metra class 2 data interface those features are retained. The chime retention interfaces will provide the warning chimes that are lost with the replacement of the OEM radio. Interface will provide 12-volt 10-amp accessory output. The chime retention interfaces are designed to be used in vehicles without amplified sound systems or when the amplifier is being removed. Retains all the factory warning chimes that would be lost when the OEM radio is removed. Retains R.A.P. Retained Accessory Power. This interface works in select 2000-up GM/Chevrolet models.
