Banquet Chicekn Fried Beef Steak, Frozen Meal, 10 oz.

Not the Banquet I remember for serving size or flavor. Bait and switch comes to mind when the top line reads Chicken Fried Beef "Steak" and is immediately contradicted by the second line Chicken Fried Beef "Patty Fritter." Cook according to directions and the result is something the size of a breakfast sausage patty, about 2" in diameter. "Deceptive Trade" comes to mind as the package representation is the gross exaggeration of a two-bite fritter. I'm from Texas where our chicken fried steak is crispy, tenderized round steak and hangs off the plate. This meal isn't even reminiscent of our classic. You get what you pay for, but this is barely a kid's meal.

I dont usually eat or even like frozen meals, like any of them, at all. They are usually so gross!! I have no idea what it is about this one specific entree with chicken fried beef steak but I love it. Sorry to say it but I truly dont eatany other frozen meals but this particular one. It is so good and so darn cheap!! I dont care that some reviews complain about the breading falling off or the potion size being too small. I dont care about any other review but mine. Trust when I tell you I am in total shock and disbelief myself for loving this meal so much. It's an insane freak of nature. I will be keeping this stuff stocked in my freezer for sure. Please please please do not discontinue this product!!! I would literally cry and be sad over not having it in my life. Thank you Banquet!!

Doesn't taste as good as it looks. Squishy chicken. The corn is good but but the mashed potatoes taste funky. I tried cooking it both in the microwave and oven. Although it taste better when cooking it in the oven I still wouldn't buy it again to be honest

This was not my favorite, but when your really hungry it will do. I'm not sure if I cooked it to long but in mine the meat was very, well, hard. There also wasn't alot of flavor it was kind of bland. I would eat it again, but maybe not buy it again. Free food is free food.

So I work third shift and sometimes getting out of work at 730am we don't want to cook , so we throw a couple of these microwave dinners in and they work just fine! This one happens to be one of my FAVORITES. If I could suggest an improvement I'd change out the corn for green beans.
