Barbie - Mattel Kt Waterproof Digital Camera - Pink

This camera is supposed to be for children as young as three. I got this for my granddaughter's third birthday. She had been using a camera of her mother's with a broken display. She cannot press the button hard enough to turn on, although my six year old grandson can. She cannot take a picture for the same reason, and when she does get a pic, it is not very good. (and its NOT because she is unable to hold camera steady) This thing eats batteries like kids do candy...Not a good value, and fisher price should up the age for this camera, as well as find a way to get a better picture. My granddaughter is very disappointed, and has gone back to using the broken REAL camera. For a toy this thing is way over priced.

We are now sending our 3rd camera back to Mattel! The camera shuts off immediately after being turned on. We've tried new batteries & everything. I am very disappointed with this camera. We have had the blue boy's camera for years with no trouble at all.

My 2 year old daughter got this for Christmas. She really enjoys taking pics and it's a good thing she doesn't get mine out of my purse anymore. The only thing I don't like is that you can't change the settings and the picture comes out really bright sometimes.

I can't give this a good review because I will have to bring it back. It didn't work out of the box. We put in new batteries and it will turn on for a second, then turn right off. I purchased this one for my 2 1/2 year old and got my 1 1/2 year old the little Tikes camera (from another retailer as a door buster item. I only paid $20 for it). It works great so we are going to just keep one. This might just be a bad item but considering it is suppose to be tough, I am disappointed.

My two year old has dropped, thrown, kicked and even washed this camera in the sink and it still works perfectly. Most photos come out OK. It has a slightly grainy picture and a tendency to white out photos, but then again, my kid does take the pics indoors while running or while holding the camera about 2 inches from her target. Easy to use...we showed her how to use it and she figured it out in about 2 trys (and you just plug into the computer to transfer pics.) Very impressed by such an inexpensive toy camera!
