In 1912 the McCasland family turned over their stock seed to the Hastings Seed Company who offered the seed for sale that same year. Popular usage in the south shortened to McCaslan. Prolific and vigorous vines produce 7-8" green, slightly curved pods. Excellent quality and always stringless. Pole habit, 61-66 days.
