beetnik Organic Shepherd's Pie with Grass Feed Beef, 11 oz

Hands down the WORST Shepard's pie I've ever had. Absolutely disgusting. Do not buy this. I wouldn't even take it for free, that's how awful this is. It looks more like a gross soup (very watery) and the taste is pure garbage, no wonder it was a clearance item.

If you like eating Elmer's glue with school greens in it this is for you. I wanted to like this so much but its revolting.The carrots were mush, the grayish potato gloop had a life of it's own and the meat was barely visible under a ton of gross greens floppy stalks of something scary. It really reminded me of school dinners. Worst thing i've put in my mouth since the 90's.

I agree with many of the other reviews. Very much too much pepper. Also, like all other Sheperd's Pie sold in stores, it is ground beef, not quality beef. And not much of it. The microwave instructions say to stir it up and then it does not look like the picture on the package. Yes, it is awful.

Horrendous product. As others have said, not enough salt and WAY TOO MUCH PEPPER. Not to menation the overall texture, which is plain gross - not appetizing to look at - nothing like the picture , as others also hAve said, and just disgusting to attempt to eat. I am so turned off by this pathetic offering from these people that I would never try anything else from them.

Just tried beetnik's Paleo Organic Shepherd's Pie for the first time. Since I am a huge fan of shepherd pie, I really wanted to like this frozen meal. Unfortunately, it contained a lot of gristle and had WAY too much black pepper and red pepper (the spices totally obscured the taste of the meat, potatoes, and veggies). Will NOT buy again.
