My daughters cooked another hard drive on their laptop as they always have it sitting on their legs. I immediately went out and purchased another one of these. I am now the proud owner of 3. VERY lightweight, don't take up a lot of space and keeps the laptop at a great height. They do an excellent job at preventing overheating! There is a nice little pouch you can slide your power adapter into, so you can basically pick this up, carry it around and have everything you need when you sit down again. This is a MUST HAVE unless you enjoy hardware failures. You are doing yourself a disservice by not owning one. Walmart pricing is FANTASTIC. Just shop around and find out for yourself.

I bought this as a gift. The receiver really liked it. The only issue I had is that the website said not available in stores, and I found it in the store for $8.88 cheaper.

I order this item,because my laptop gets hot on my lap.Only faults I have is its height,it could be about 3" short.Has a nice storage place,now my cord doesn't get all tangled up.

We now own three of these laptop "cushions". They are sturdy, smartly designed, easily portable, and the perfect height for use on the coffee table, bed, or wherever you use your laptop. The fabric may have a strong unpleasant smell, but just spray all over with Febreze once, and it never returns. At least two are always in use in our home.

I liked this product so much I bought two of them. It's great for using your computer on your lap or on a flat surface. The computer doesn't get as hot as it would if it were directly on your lap because even though this item has some cushion, it is rigid enough that there is some airspace between the computer and the stand. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a laptop stand.
