Benecalorie Concentrated Liquid Nutrition, 24 X 1.5-Ounce cups (liquid)

My 17 year old son was recently diagnosed with the eating disorder Avoidance/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). He is 5'3 and weights 84lbs. Because he is so picky when it comes to food we had a hard time finding a supplement with a lot of calories in it. We found he likes to drink the breakfast essentials chocolate drink so we added a benecalorie in it. We didn't tell him and he was not able to tell the difference. Now he mixes one with every shake he makes, including smoothie shakes. This product was a life saver, literally, for us.

this item is an essential part of my dietary needs so that I can regain weight after radiation therapy. I am very happy with being able to get it so easily.

The best thing I can say about BeneCalorie is that it is tasteless, so I am able to add 330 calories and 7 grams of protein to whatever I'm eating without affecting the taste. Unfortunately, it is a little oily, but as a patient recovering from throat cancer, it has been difficult for me to get eat enough. Benecalorie has been a godsend.

I'm sorry to say this item was returned to a local store for refund. It was for my 94yo mom who needs extra calories. She didn't tell me for 3 servings that it was spoiled. It was within best used by range. Contents were mostly hard, not liquid and curdled when put in food. I let the cashier know it was bad, not just a return but not sure that went any further.

It takes some getting use to. Their is a slight taste and smell. I found if you mix it with foods like a shake, mashed potatoes, and pudding you don't really taste it. If you're serious about gaining weight then none of the negative should be a factor. I've only used it two weeks and have put on 2 pounds.
