bettergoods Pistachio Spread, 6.5 oz, 6 Servings

This is great butter, but I've only tried this kind so can't compare it to any other brand. Word of warning though, it is EXTREMELY SWEET. Almost sickeningly. It overpowered the pistachio taste almost entirely. Would be best adding to a dessert recipe or snack. It's much too sweet to eat much of off a spoon. Definitely will hit that sweet craving during that time of the month though haha!

This burned my throat after trying some on a spoon. I do NOT have any allergies, and enjoy pistachios often! After the burning and tingling on my tongue i was hit with an odd aftertaste. It was almost bitter/chemically. This is my first time purchasing, so i'm not sure if i got a bad jar like some others claim. My jar was a decent green, but super runny. Seal wasn't broken and it popped when i opened it. Honestly, it didn't have a strong pistachio flavor as all i could taste was the nasty bitter aftertaste. Will not be buying again.

This item was rancid upon first opening it. It has been over a month since I purchased it but the date on the side of the jar indicates it to be sale worthy long after this date of opening. I do like the Better Goods line but this is not a good look for them I see this has been on the shelves since possibly May and not pulled, very suspicious.

Similar to other reviews the recent batch tastes rancid. Mine has an expiration date of 5/26/26 and it tastes fine initially but has a horrible after taste. I was disappointed as it looks like it would be fantastic but whatever happened with this batch is a problem.
