BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil, Black, 4 Pack

These pencils are awesome! I have been using them for over a month now and I can not use any other pencil. I love they way they feel when you hold them to write. They fell solid and the rubber grip is comfortable. As a teacher, I use pencils throughout the day and this one takes the cake!!!! This is the very best pencil that I have ever used. I can say that is very visually pleasing, easy to hold and maneuver, and writes perfectly. The lead is very smooth and I like how it does not drag when I write on paper. My children both LOVE this pencil and use it every day at school and while at home doing their homework. From my own personal experience with this new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil to everyone I buzzed to (who also tried it courtesy of BzzAgent!) gave it a 5-star rating. Me, personally, loved the grip and the feel of it in my hand. It had a nice "weight" to it, but was in no way heavy (if that makes and sence) - It wrote smooth and erased clean. The last pencil I used, (standard yellow #2), paled in comparison. I love the fact they are re-fillable and that this pack came not only with the addt'l lead, but erasers too! What pencils I kept will last me a long time, which in and of itself, is a great thing! The other points of note, were the colors (fun for the little ones) and the fact the lead did not seem to break instantly when you begin to use it. All in all, a great tool!! When I packed my kids up for back to school I sent them each with several BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils. As an adult I love mechanical pencils, so I decided to try them myself also. I took some to work and put them on my desk with my other pencils and pens. At one point thought I was writing with a pen but it was actually a pencil. They write very smoothly and erase cleanly. I like how sharp and precise my writing looks with these pencils. I also love that they come with extra erasers and lead, which is a big plus. As an adult my only complaint would be that they come in such bright colors. I brought the yellow and blue pencils to work since they would blend in with . the rest of my pencils and pens I received samples of BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion. My son started 9th grade this year. Big Highschooler!! He of course waited til the morning of the first day of school to panic about his supplies. He ran around the house trying to find pencils that he would actually use, and yelling how we had no such pencils... I however had a package of Big Velocity Pencils waiting for him.
