($230 value) Bio Ionic Luxe 10x Flat Iron Hair Straightener

I initially acquired this item through a Walmart marketplace seller. Unfortunately, the packaging arrived damaged, prompting my decision to return the item and acquire it directly from Walmart. However, upon receiving the replacement from Walmart, I discovered that it was a counterfeit item. The authentic packaging was supposed to include a distinct silver element, which was absent from the received box.

For what this iron cost you would think that it would have a hot pad, storage/travel bag and more importantly, a plate locking button for storage and travel. I would rather see the ridiculous long cord replaced with a plate-lock button and hot pad for sitting the iron on so as not to burn ones bathroom counter. Even the cheaper irons have these small but thoughtful, useful accessories and features. As for performance: meh, not OMG impressed in that area either. It works better than any iron I've used in the past, but I still have to do two or passes to get my thick wavy hair straight. I will say that it does leave my hair shiny and straight once I've passed the hair a few times. I think I am going to return it and try the CHI Volcanic Lava Mineral flat iron and see how it does in comparison; for it has floating plates that move with the hair for curling, and has the plate lock button for storage and travel

I' ve tried many flat irons, but this one is the best. I have fine hair and it smooths it beautifully and shapes it just right on the lowest setting. I bought it because at the salon I go to the stylist recommened it and she loves it too. I highly recommend it.

Purchased this flat iron after reading many reviews on it. Its kind of expensive so I really wanted to make sure it was good. I have curly hair, have used it a few times now and think its and amazing product. It glides smoothly through your hair, no pulling and leaves hair smooth. I hairstyle my hair with it the first day, then the next day just had retouch the stubborn top front hair and nothing else and by the third day didnt even have to retouch. This is my experience with it so far. Totally worth it.
