I think this items works best as pictured- placed on a table. WHen clipped onto a pocket or waistband it either comes off or pulls awkwardly. The battery seems to gon on and off like there is a short. The smell is pleasant though. I may try to band it to my kneeling bench next.
Not as good as OFF. Bugs still bother me, the odor is very strong and the fan barely works. I thought I was getting refills but received the entire unit. Overpriced and took too long to arrive. I expected better from Gardeners.
This is probably the only device / home remedy, I've found for gnats. Those little buggers seem to be indestructible ! I never give 5 stars as I believe everything has room for improvement. This comes very close, though, to a 5 star review.
Put on your outside patio table, or on the patio floor, turn it on and no mosquitos! Citronella smell very pleasant, not so heavy. Remember to turn off. Each cartridge lasts 120 hours, comes with extra cartridge. So glad I tried this product.
I purchased this for my garage to help reduce flying pests... I haven't had it long enough to really know how effective it will be, but so far so good....the smell is a little strong so I cut it on for awhile and then cut it off....
